K’Town Community Gathering

I went to the first big community gathering since before Lock Down yesterday. It was held in Knaresborough and I was there representing Harrogate Community Radio.

Allan S had set up the PA with the help of Scooby and I got the Knaresborough House for 10am – I had a laptop full of tunes and some were better than others.

Scooby was playing a lot of good music and we set about making a good impression. Here are the photos from it…

Harper and Cass turned up with family and friends and they played the best worst music – if you can imagine General Levy being played out at a village fete … well, they did.

I popped for a pint after the de-rig and and spoke about people who poo in plastic bags very loudly, it was quite embarrassing and I am worried about the impression I gave.

Homeward bound (bus) it was on to IKEA Hell and and a Chinese Takeaway.

It was a long day and my feet are still feeling it – Kathryn is scanning books for sale from our collection and we are turning this new build in to a home.

It has been so mahoosively hot this past week or so that it seemed an error to move in to a top floor Apartment – but, every time I open the fridge (a lot) I am blown away by the attention to detail in this flat.

I love living here with Kathryn.

Still at my most enthusiastic and naive.
